MATT POGGIOLI
Manager – Potatoes
Ricardo is the Manager for Hay and Grass Seed production and sales. He also manages the family Seed Cleaning business which provides grading and packaging services to seed producers on the Tablelands.
Ricardo grew up on the family farm at Yadjin Road and along with his father and brothers worked on the land from a young age. Ricardo joined the family business full time in 2001 after completing high school. In 2003 Ricardo completed a Certificate 3 in Agriculture with the Australian College of Tropical Agriculture.
Ricardo lived and worked in Europe for a period of 3 years where he gained farming experience in Germany and worked as a machinery service representative for a company in the United Kingdom. Ricardo and his wife returned permanently to the Atherton Tablelands in 2015.
RICARDO POGGIOLI
Manager – Grass Seed & Hay

DANIEL POGGIOLI
Manager – Avocados
Daniel is the Manager for Fresh Produce specialising in Avocados.
Daniel was born and raised on the family farm at Yadjin Road and developed a passion for farming by working with his father and two brothers from a young age.
While completing a trade Daniel worked after hours on the family farm. He completed his qualifications as an Auto Electrician in 2007 and soon after returned to work fulltime in the family business.
SANDRA CURCIO
Manager – Finance & Administration
As well as being the Administration and Finance Manager for the family business, Sandra is also the company’s Quality Assurance Officer for Freshcare, Workplace Health & Safety Officer and ISTA Accredited Seed Sampling Officer.
Sandra grew up on the family farm at Yadjin Road and is the eldest in the family. Sandra lived and worked interstate and overseas for several years before returning to live on the Atherton Tableland in 2003.
Sandra’s career experience has been largely with bookkeeping, accountancy and administration. After working many years for accounting firms and businesses, she joined the family business full-time in 2007.
Sandra completed Certificate 4 in Business Administration in 2012 and is currently studying Certificate 4 in Leadership & Management.
