Freshcare is a practical, industry-focused, science-based food safety and quality management program, that is widely accepted by all sectors of the supply chain.

PRiMO PRODUCE has held Freshcare Accreditation since October 2002 for Fresh Produce & Fodder Crops – Certification Number P4001925. In March 2017 we completed training for The Freshcare Food Safety & Quality Edition 4 Code of Practice (FSQ4).

FSQ4 outlines specific practices that must be implemented and maintained to assure continuous food safety and quality requirements are met on-farm. There are two sections of the Freshcare FSQ4 Code:

External audits are conducted annually to ensure we are meeting the Freshcare Code of Practice in production of our crops.
